A dense, clump-forming sedge rising to 10" tall and to 18" wide which is grown for its foliage effect. Features grass-like, arching, variegated leaves which are creamy yellow with dark green borders. Strong creamy-white leaf margins add brightness to shady and woodland gardens and borders. Spreads by underground stems (rhizomes) to create a dense mat - an easy groundcover - but is not invasive. Evergreen to -10 Fahrenheit.
Trumpet Creeper - Deciduous, dark green foliage with showy red-orange, trumpet-shaped blooms June-Sept. Twining or prostrate habit. A native to designated zones/very aggresive/will climb 30'-40'. Effective naturalized groundcover. Mature prostrate height 12"-18". Bronzy green to dark green leaves set off deep blue flowers. Low growing perennial with a dense collection of wiry erect stems from rapidly spreading underground stems. Scarlet red fall foliage. Green and Gold - Low-growing, mat-forming plant similar in structure to Ajuga. Showy yellow blooms spring through summer. Needs ample water in full sun. Requires afternoon shade in warmer climates. Mature height 4" - 6".
Lily of the valley has very dainty white, bell-shaped flowers which are very sweet smelling and bloom in early spring. Profusion of creamy yellow flowers on a refined, airy form makes a statement in perennial beds. So much so it was named 1992 Perennial of the Year! Well-suited for containers and hanging baskets. Semi-evergreen to Evergreen. Dark green foliage with ear like lobe at base of leaves. Prefers well drained average to dry soil. Tolerates poor soil. Golden yellow flowers in Spring-early Summer. Good for borders or as a groundcover.  .

Purple Wintercreeper - Evergreen, trailing groundcover with 1 1/2" - 2" oval-shaped leaves turning burgundy in fall. Stems root along nodes. Excellent for erosion control. Rapid growth habit. Early spring pruning improves appearance.
